Below are several suggested and popular photo tour itineraries going through Montmartre, the Covered Passages, the Classic Sites of Paris or Le Marais. There are of course many other possible destinations that we can build into a tour to respond to your specific interests.

Palais Royal and the Covered Passages

Considered the fashionable shopping centres in the 19th century, the passages have kept the picturesque charm of ancient Paris with their wood moulding store fronts and unique glass roofs.

Starting from the Palais Royal with its arcades, garden and sculptures, then moving to the various covered passages leading to Montmartre, this itinerary allows us to explore hidden wine merchants, specialty boutiques, antique shops, old tea rooms and hidden staircases that are a paradise for unusual photo opportunities away from the crowds and off the beaten path. (more on the covered passages...)

Montmartre: The Village

Clinging to the northern hill of Paris, Montmartre is known for its small village atmosphere and has long been associated with the artistic community that lived there.

Romantic stairways, artists at work, birds eye view on the roofs of Paris, cabarets where famous artists such as Picasso or Renoir met with their friends, the ‘Love’ wall and the agitation around the fruit vendors: this is what makes Montmartre. We will walk in the footsteps of Amélie Poulain and will also explore some little known corners of the hill, not to mention the more famous Sacré Coeur basilica. These are all part of the backdrop for this photo tour, setting the stage for typical as well as out of way Parisian scenes. (more on Montmartre...)

Le Marais: Charm and Vibrance

After being neglected for many years, Le Marais is now a vibrant 'quartier' of central Paris and has kept much of its original charm.

This area is unique for the diversity in photo opportunities it can offer. We will discover a maze of narrow winding streets, hidden quiet gardens, fashionable boutiques, and the lively Jewish quarter. There will be plenty of opportunity to photograph street activities and candid images while the splendid courtyard sculptures and historic monuments will be the backdrop to express your photographic vision.

Classic Paris

Of course, there is also the classic sites of Paris, such as the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre with its pyramid, Notre Dame, the Grand Palais, the Latin Quarter and the river banks. This tour is a joyful way to visit Paris whether it is your first visit to the capital or you just wish to rediscover the classic sites from a different perspective.

This is the perfect opportunity to be out and creative! We will walk around the famous monuments and places, finding original view points and angles, playing with the light of the ever-changing sky of Paris. This itinerary will provide plenty of opportunity to create unique photos and memories to take back home with you.
