I am very excited to announce the release of a new photography book, called Natural Inspiration: a book of Photography and Quotations. This 54-page book includes nature and landscape images I have taken over the years that have moved me for one reason or another. From the hills of Italy, the coasts of France and the deserts of Morocco, through to the vast expanses of Canada and the minute details of fragile flowers, these images evoke for me a sense of freedom and serenity. This is the first post in a coming series of 'Paris from the Top'. The first thing that comes to mind about seeing Paris 'from the top' is the Eiffel Tower, for obvious reasons. Night photography provides lots of opportunity for creative fun, and this is particularly true in Paris. After all, it is called the 'City of Light' for a reason! All these lights give us a chance to play with various effects, one of which is the creation of star-bursts coming off points of light.
